Visit of the deputy of the European Parliament to Bykovnya

On October 31, 2019, the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Graves of Bykovnia" was visited by European Parliament deputy Anna Fotyga, accompanied by Deputy Military Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Major Mariush Sadovski and Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Michal Gyergon.

The distinguished guest laid a wreath at the grave at the Polish Military Cemetery and examined the renovated walls of the central part of the International Memorial to the Victims of Totalitarianism 1937-1941. with the surnames of the repressed citizens of the USSR. The deputy expressed her gratitude to the staff of the Reserve for their hard work aimed at preserving the memory of the innocent victims and in order to many people could come here and learn the truth about those times and realize the criminality of Stalinism and totalitarianism as a whole.
